Players are free to mix and match as they will, and, of course, all the cheats will still be available for the less patient of you…but let’s be honest, we all did it! It isn’t just one game, it’s three – we get the simplicity of the first, the genre bending of the second and the steps forward in vision and complexity of the third all at once. Perhaps the best thing about this, not including the fact we get a cool set of trophies for these original games, is the fact it is, obviously, a trilogy. Who doesn’t want to see the likes of N-Gin, Dingodile, N-Brio, Ripper Roo, Tiny Tiger, Pinstripe and of course Cortex paint the screen with ridiculous space battles, blazing infernos and cackles of evil? I have to say, the bosses and villainous figures are a big pull for me only Crash Bandicoot can have such mad inventions of whacky craziness to match a hero of equally mad fervour. There are so many aspects of the trilogy to look forward to. The next big release they are working on? Destiny 2. It should be said that Activision are publishing the game, with the talented force of Vicarious Visions as developers. Even the audio clips for every single animation and voice have been redone to grace our ears with the insanity of Naughty Dog’s original creativity. Every level has been rebuilt, every enemy recreated, every graphical detail reshaped and crafted with the level of attention and beauty of modern games. And these aren’t just reskinned and rereleased…these are full blown remasters. The Bandicoot and his friends return to push through the first three original games once again.
